Reliance Trends wanted to break through the clutter of typical Onam campaigns and truly resonate with Kerala’s diverse audience. The challenge was to highlight a national brand’s offerings while preserving the authenticity and emotional depth of a regional festival, all within a tight turnaround.

Project Outcome

The final film was a culturally rich, emotionally uplifting campaign that struck a chord across age groups. It saw high engagement across digital platforms, significant in-store traffic during the Onam season, and glowing feedback for its heartfelt representation of tradition reimagined in a modern retail context.

About Project

Set in the lush backdrop of a Kerala home preparing for Onam, the film tells a joyful story of reunion, teasing, and tradition. Neeraj Madhav and Nikhila Vimal bring infectious energy to the screen, embodying the spirit of Onam in both emotion and attire. Elephant Tales handled the concept, scripting, direction, and production — infusing every moment with cultural detail, heartfelt storytelling, and vibrant fashion. From kasavu threads to hearty laughter, the campaign captured everything that makes Onam special — in style and in soul.
